The tube vanished, but the shadow underneath her feet was still there. Her brown eyes slowly turned into a shade of red.

Alexis was just standing there watching all this happen she was scared when Kyoko eyes turned red. "What's going on?" she asked.

"Yup." Kyoko said, in a battling stance. Her katana's black ribbon at the end flew in the breeze from the blast of energy, still blowing.

"Lets go then!" Chieko sliced her sword at the shadow.

Kyoko nodded, dashing to the left side of the shadow. She stabbed the center, and ripped the katana back out. The shadow slowly healed, looking like it didn't happen at all. Kyoko noticed the shadow appearing to be a bit bigger, but didn't think anything would happen.

Chieko stabbed the shadow but she was just thrown backwards. The shadow looked a little bigger now.

Kyoko watched as the shadow appeared to morph into a man. He stayed as a black shadow, though, looking like an actual shadow casted by a man.

Alexis said nothing while this happened she just stood there and after a few seconds fainted.

"Oh crap!" Chieko shouted as the shadow turned into a man. "I thought you killed him Kyoko!" she said. Her arm and back started to burn again.

"I thought so too." Kyoko replied, staying calm. Well, at least trying to stay calm. She clenched her katana, aiming for the man's chest.

Alexis was walking up after she fainted. "Who's the guy?" she asked. She was finally completely awake.

"It was the shadow" I said to Alexis, "you ok?" I said looking at her.

Kyoko examined the shadow man, lowering her wielding arm. She looked from the shadow man to Chieko. I see... When the man revives.. Then the wounds from earlier start to burn... So that means... Kyoko thought, her eyes widening. Pain entered Kyoko's body, the exact spot where the man had stabbed her. Kyoko's eye twitched as she tried to ignore the pain. Slowly lifting her arm, she dashed towards the shadow man, stabbing his chest. All he did was laugh a bit, and he held on to the blade of the katana.

Kyoko shut her eyes as the man held on tighter to her katana. It looked as if he closed his eyes, and muttered something under his breath. The pain started growing worse. The minute Kyoko opened her eyes, her katana was buried in the exact spot she was stabbed before, blood dripping onto the floor. The shadow man's index finger was on the handle of the katana, and Kyoko was holding onto the blade. It was as if... he switched their places around...

Alexis saw the blood dripping she was freaking out again and thought it was all her fault. She stepped towered the shadow man in hope he would stop hurting Kyoko and hurt her instead. He did and she screamed but she knew it would help Kyoko a little.

Chieko dropped her sword and fell to the floor. Her back felt like fire. She saw Alexis. "Alexis don't! It isn't your battle!" She tried to grab her sword but she saw a shadow creeping up on her. She closed her eyes and waited for the impact. The shadow all of a sudden burst. She looked and saw Kaoki. "Kaoki!" Chieko shouted. Kaoki fell over. "No...." She crawled over to him and dragged him towards a wall.

Alexis fell to the floor in pain. She then knew why they wanted her to stay away, but she couldn't just sit there and watch them get hurt. She saw the boy Chieko was helping she didn't know who he was,but she was in to much pain to ask.

Chieko propped Kaoki against a wall. She saw Alexis fall. She dragged her over too. "Stay-" Chieko winced. "Here. I need to go help Kyoko now." She stood up and grabbed he sword slowly. She looked up and saw Kyoko being stabbed. Chieko's eyes widened and she gritted her teeth. She raised Her hand in front of her. "A finibus terrae umbram sublata mitte infernus" A dark ball of energy flew from Chieko's hands. It hit the shadow man right in the stomach making him fly backwards. He looked at Chieko and disappeared.

Alexis was trying to stand up, but she couldn't. "Chieko help me up please." she said. "Where did the shadow man go?" she asked.
