Christmas Dance

The snow fell from the clouds, hitting the cold floor. A girl with blonde hair was sleeping on her bed, rolling and turning everywhere on her bed.
"Roselani, wake up!" her mother called from below. Roselani grunted. "Seiichi is here!" she added. Roselani's eyes opened fully.

"Coming!" she grinned. Roselani rushed to her closet, getting a pair of black skinny jeams, a plain red shirt, a pair of socks, and her Uggs. She changed in no less than 5 minutes. She brushed her hair and her teeth. Running down stairs, she saw her friend Seiichi eating breakfast. "You invited him in?" her mouth dropped.
"Mhm.. Mrs. Miki, this is delicious!" Seiichi said with his mouth filled with food.
"Oh, how about your mother, eh?" she snapped.
"Oh shut up..." Seiichi growled at Roselani. "You better start eating, school is starting in half an hour. Last week of school, you should know." he said, putting his plate in the sink.
Roselani grabbed a waffle and grabbed her bag, lunch, an Seiichi's hand. "Bye, mom! Love you!" and we left for the door.

At school, morning announcement was reached on our intercom. "Good morning students, this Fridat is to be our school Christmas Dance. As you should know, each year, two students are chosen to be the Christmas Queen and King. Vote will be chosen at the beginning of the dance. Teacher, will be to explain more about it. Have a good school day!" Mr. Huntington's voice echoed. Our silence broke and the senior girls, including Roselani, in the class room squealed.
"Oh my gosh, I have been dying to be queen!" one girl said.
"Oh it's on! It's on, Emmy!" her friend joked.
Someone tugged on my arm. It was Tawni, my best friend. "Oh. My. God!" she was jumping. "I had been wanting to be queen since freshman year!"
Roselani laughed. "Tawni, I know everybody wants to." she tugged her arm away. "Who are you taking?" she asked Tawni.
Tawni turned red. "I-I-I don't know, actually..." she turned to look at Seiichi.
"Wait, wh-" Roselani was cut off by her teacher Ms. Ginger.
"Okay, everybody is to be with a partner for the dance! If you want to be alone, so be it!" the room was silent when she talked loudly. Ms. Ginger looked around the room. "Are we clear?"
"Yes, Ms. Ginger..." the class said together.
The bell rang suddenly. "Okay, everyone off to their classes!" she barked.
